Experiencing the hope

Experiencing the positive impact of the organisation is most effectively achieved by visiting the campus in Hillcrest and engaging with the families and staff. The annual Vision Africa conference offers this platform of engagement and allows friends of iThemba the opportunity to witness the power of hope first hand.

Friends from the USA travel to South Africa and participate in an intensive programme, with room for reflection, which raises the awareness of the needs of families due to the devastation of the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

Those who have benefited from the Vision Africa experience form close bonds with iThemba and remain in regular contact with staff. The attendees realise that the impact that is made at iThemba is indeed significant and worthy of support.
