Penelope - (born 25 June 2001)

Penelope, affectionately known as Pene, is a lively, happy little girl with sparkly eyes who enjoys playing with her dolly, computer games, dressing up, modelling and outside activities. She loves socializing with other children and you will regularly hear girly giggles when she is with her friends. Her confidence is growing daily. She attends the iThemba Academy and participates in gymnastics, drama, swimming and youth.

Max-Joshua – (born 12 February 2004) - new photo

Max or Max-Josh has started his schooling career in Grade 0 at Hillcrest Christian Academy this year (2010) and has progressed from a bicycle with no training wheels to a motorbike! He is a physical, energetic boy who loves the outdoors, riding, skating and climbing jungle gyms (his teacher noted his physical prowess on the obstacle course was most impressive and that he displayed great agility in his movements). He is well mannered, enthusiastic, kind natured and loves animals, nature and his siblings.

Nandi – (born 13 July 1996)

Nandi joined the Joshua house in December 2007 and has settled in very well. Her smile lights a room and she has a wonderful sense of humour and loves to laugh. She is a very talented netball player and was selected for the provincial team. She is currently schooling at Hillcrest Primary.

David – (born 11 November 1995) new photo

As with most boys David loves a cricket ball and bat. He is always seen with either in his hand and aspires to become a South African cricket hero. He was fortunate to obtain a bursary to top boys’ boarding school Kearsney College from 2010 where he will be entering Grade 8. His family is very excited by the possibilities of this wonderful opportunity and the doors that it will open.

Peter - (born 12 September 1995)

Peter is a true entertainer and loves drama - at any given opportunity he will imitate a movie line, do a skit or show you a dance! He has also discovered drumming and has a good sense of rhythm. He was previously attending the Hillcrest Christian Academy and from 2010 enters his high school years at Waterfall College.

Kendell – (born 20 April 1993)

Kendell, or Kenz as she is affectionately known, is caring, compassionate, creative, wise and outgoing. She is currently in Grade 11 at Hillcrest High School. She is passionate about horse riding, art, poetry, children and paints in her spare time. Kenz is involved in word sessions at school in the poetry club. Her friends and siblings seek her out for advice. Relationships are important to her and she loves her siblings dearly.
