The aim is to sustain the existing momentum and to continue delivering hope
by implementing our Masterplan; the immediate fundraising goals are to:
- Pay off the land and raise funds to build our fifth home, Anna House.
- Upgrade and expand the iThemba Academy and obtain bursaries for 100 children in the Embo community to attend the school.
- Purchase two vehicles for the Cluster Foster Homes.
- Improve the campus and upgrade water reticulation and grass cutter.

iThemba is an non-profit, public benefit (18a) organisation. Should you feel moved to support us your donation will be tax deductible. A Tax Certificate will be provided for inclusion in your tax return. Please notify us of any deposits made so that we can issue your tax certificate and acknowledge your generosity.

iTHEMBA ACADEMY BURSARIES/SCHOLARSHIPS
An important fundraising goal for the iThemba Academy is to obtain bursaries/scholarships for 20 children from the Embo community to attend the school over 5 years, from 2010 to 2014. The cost per child is R9 250 per year. Children will be selected who are: restricted in their current school, able to embrace the opportunity, demonstrate potential and have parents who are willing to invest energy into their education. We challenge supporters to match donations to accelerate the process. |
