One of the objectives of the aQuelle Tour Durban (28 April 2019) is to use the event to make a difference in the greater Durban community. This year they have broadened their impact with the addition of additional charities who will be participating in the Charity Batch Challenge, one of which is Focus on iThemba.
Their team hopes to see the Charity Batch grow from strength to strength as riders commit to enter the 45km or 100km rides in support of one of the charities. Each entry to ride in the Charity Batch will incur a R50 donation which will be added to the entry fee and will be distributed directly to the selected charity. One of the benefits, over and above being able to make a donation, is a preferred starting batch which will see you heading off ahead of most of the field in the 45km or 100km events.
