Kerry Ingredients supports Focus on iThemba\’s Scholarship Programme

On 31 May, the vibrant and dynamic Kerry Ingredients South Africa team, based in Hillcrest Durban, held their annual Golf Day at Cotswold Downs Golf Course and Leisure Centre. The proceeds of the day were generously donated to local non-profit organisation, Focus on iThemba.

“Our Team at Focus on iThemba are filled with overwhelming gratitude for the generosity shown by Kerry Ingredients and friends.”, expressed Tayla-Anne Goss, Focus on iThemba Team Leader. “The funds raised will go towards our iThemba Scholars Education Fund to support the programmes growth and annual expansion plan, with the ultimate aim of sustainability being at the forefront of our conversations.”

Initiated in 2016, our iThemba Scholars Programme now supports 10 children, spanning from Grades 000 to Grade 5, to attend Waterfall Schools, a trio of co-educational independent centres of excellence. Based on our iThemba Campus the schools, encompassing Waterfall Pre-Primary, Waterfall Preparatory and Waterfall College, offer quality holistic education with a caring, innovative, personalised approach interwoven with Christian values, community outreach initiatives and affordability.

“We aim to have 30 iThemba Scholars benefit from this unique programme, by the year 2029 and with the partnership of forward-thinking donors like Kerry Ingredients, our mission of being a catalyst for contagious joy by providing bridges of hope for life-altering positive change by investing in children through quality education is being reached.\”

We truly value these partnerships of collaboration to Grow Hearts and Minds and invite companies or individuals who would like to support our life-changing iThemba Scholarship Programme to contact Tayla at Focus on iThemba on tayla@focusonithemba.org.
