The new school year has begun at our partner Pre-Schools, sparking huge joy for the little ones whose enthusiasm for school abounds! We popped in at our Molweni-based partner Pre-School, Project Bright, where the energy was palpable. Principal Bright Zondi and her teachers had poured great love and effort into making their School inviting and fun for their young learners – with handmade welcome signs on each classroom door and interesting activities set up inside and outside.
We asked the children “What makes you most excited to be back at school?”
They said:
“Learning new things”
“Playing…. and eating!!!”
“Making new friends and seeing old ones.”
“The new teacher that started. She seems nice.”
” My uniform. I love it!”
Oh what fun for these little ones! It is a joy for us to witness their eagerness and curiosity and we are so proud of what the teachers and principals are doing with their Schools.
