We are fortunate enough to have made friends with an organisation that believes in the power of togetherness. The youth of today, are the future leaders of tomorrow, and it is incredibly encouraging to see a group of young people, working together to make a difference. On the 2nd of September 2016, Focus on iThemba will be the beneficiary of a Golf Day hosted by Sithanda Upliftment Projects. The golf day will take place at the Parkview Golf Course in Johannesburg, with tee-off commencing at 11am.
Sithanda Upliftment Project is a non-profit organisation – driven by passion and purpose with the common interest of giving back to the community, and making a difference to the lives of those less fortunate.
Sithanda’s aim for the golf day is to donate all proceeds to the Focus on iThemba Academy: “This will enable us to put as many children as possible through their education system. This is the first step in fundamentally changing their lives, and brightening their futures.”
The essence of this organisation resonates perfectly with Focus on iThemba as we continue to grow, and provide quality foundation phase education to previously disadvantaged children through our Foster Care Homes, and the iThemba Academy. We are incredibly excited to work with this amazing team, as partners in hope.
